The Innovation Meridian — Practitioner Accounts
Contribute a firsthand account of how innovation actually behaves in a specific culture you know well — as a native insider, a deeply embedded outsider, or a short-term observer. Your account will contribute to The Innovation Meridian, published Winter 2027.
What we’re looking for
Practitioners who have led, contributed to, or closely observed innovation or R&D programmes in a specific cultural context. You don’t need to be an expert on the culture — you need to have honest observations about what worked, what didn’t, and why.
Most valuable contributions come from people who have worked across at least two cultures and can compare. But single-culture native accounts are equally welcome and equally important.
How it works
The contribution is a structured form of about 25–35 minutes. It covers:
- Your vantage point (how you’re positioned relative to the culture you’re describing)
- How power, history, and communication work there
- Three stories from your experience: a framework translation, a resourceful innovation, an ethical boundary
- Two comparison questions: an inversion test and an observation on silence
- One single-sentence summary of the culture’s “innovation meridian”
You can stop and resume anytime — Google saves your progress.
What you get
- A free copy of The Innovation Meridian on publication (Winter 2027)
- A named acknowledgement in the book — unless you prefer anonymity
- If one of your observations is quoted, you’re contacted beforehand with your preferred attribution

You can fill this form multiple times — one response per culture you want to comment on.
Note. The Innovation Meridian form is a practitioner survey for the book. It is separate from Yann’s doctoral research study at UCAM Murcia. Respondents are not subject to academic ethics protocols, but anonymity is respected and acknowledgements are offered.
